Best Spreadsheet for iPad

While the interface has a slight delay to it, and importing and exporting Excel files took some getting used to, it beats Excel by $143/ year, and it has basically all of the nice formatting features of Excel. Both I and my accountant love you AppVerse! The weird ways that the iPad itself imports and exports files contributed to this difficulty, no doubt. This this app is based on Open Office type files, and from now on, that's the type I plan to use! This app worked fine on my old iPad 3.

This app has really met my needs. I was able to take the this app directly from my desktop and continue working with it on the iPad (syncing by way of Google Drive.). I couldn't be more pleased. Fully featured. No problems pointing with the finger on the iPad when a mouse isn't available.
Not bad, but needs refinement.

I needed this app to access Open Office this app (.ods) files. It opens them faithfully as long as the files are not password protected: it won't open password protected files I hope they add this capability in the future. The functionality and interface is not stripped down as it is with other this app apps. I was amazed that my complex calculations were available and functioned. That said, the interface is awkward and cumbersome because it is a port of the desktop app and not built for iPad. Overall, it allows me to get my work done, but it is no joy to use. If they redesign the interface for the iPad I would give it 5 stars.
Don't waste your money.

It looks great, overall layout a bit small but good. That's where it stops. Locks (freezes), almost impossible to get it going again, then you have to re-enter all you data and changes, I spent 4 hours and it just got worse. Shear frustration... Keep my dollars!
