What is Horses Now?

This app allows users to experience live horse racing and race replays on their iOS devices. It provides overnight entries for upcoming races, live streaming video and audio from participating North American racetracks, quick delivery of results and payoffs, immediate race replays going back two years, and the ability to follow favorite racetracks, horses, trainers, and jockeys. Users can also receive push notifications on their favorites, workout notifications on their favorite horses, and easily access their favorite ADW. The app also includes a search engine to find race replays from participating North American racetracks and convenient links to Equibase PP’s, Ragozine Sheets, and NTRA racing schedule.

Software Features and Description

1. You can set your favorite tracks, horses, trainers and jockeys and receive push notifications with specific sounds for each of the below notifications that can be managed from the “Alerts” tab on the Home Screen or from the More button.

Went downhill fast...

When I first got this app I would have given it 5 stars. I’m an exercise rider at two raving farms, so watching the live racing and replays of the app I ride and work around was incredibly rewarding. Now I’m back to getting on the computer if I happen to be home. The real kicker within the last month is that I no longer get notifications for call to post or 15 min! I checked my settings and flipped them off and on and still nothing. I deleted app and reinstalled so we’ll see if that did anything 🤷🏼‍♀️ Unfortunately this app is not super useful without that feature, but I’m sticking it out in the hopes these bugs get fixed and that maybe, just MAYBE they’ll get live racing video back? Fingers crossed!
Pros vs cons

I enjoy getting the alerts and having a super easy way to keep up with everything as it’s been super handy. The unfortunate part is it doesn’t take into account the app in a lot of other countries, we no longer get replays or live feed, and now my biggest issue of it all is almost no one I know is getting proper alerts (no more 15min or post time alerts and hardly any chart alerts as well)

Keeps me on point with races anywhere, trainers, and the app. Race replays, live racing, statistics, news and the list of information goes on. As a backside veterinarian, I’m able to keep up with clients and patients as never before. Thank you, Horse Races Now.

Love this app! I like being able to follow the the app and trainers. Great for those who love racing info but don’t necessarily need a focus on wagering. No need for credit card and you can see most races!
