Top Pcmac Reviews

  • 5-star pending...

    By Nergal Kurios (Pcmac user)

Would give a solid 5 stars, however there are many exercises I do that don’t exist in the data base as of yet. I get workout challenges from darebee and some of the workouts I have to modify to track... once I see a larger database of workouts my review will be re-evaluated to 5 stars. I love the app and am happy with it otherwise. Have recommended the use of the app to multiple colleagues as well.
  • Best fitness tracking app

    By KnightSilencer (Pcmac user)

Best app I could find for free that did most everything I wanted. I wanted to be able to input workouts prior to doing them, and track each set I did. It’s easy to use during your workouts, and has a very large repertoire of exercises. It appears to have been desired and marketed more towards females (all pictures of exercise demonstrations is one woman) which initially didn’t appeal to me, but that’s really not important if the demonstration picture is a male or female. Best fitness tracking app. And the fact that you can go back and just click “repeat workout” and then change the reps/weights set by set really allows you to know how to push yourself harder each workout. This app has 5 stars from me. I downloaded about 9 other apps before this one and by far this one wins!
  • Rotten

    By Uncle Moustache (Pcmac user)

Yes, this helps to get you to do the workouts, so that’s a plus. But there are MANY problems. If you repeat a workout, you are not allowed to skip an exercise. If you want to add something in the middle of a workout, you lose everything you already entered. Last night I was not allowed to do more that 30 reps in a set of leg lifts. The time zone is not mine- I did a workout and entered it before midnight, yet it marked me down as doing it the next day, so my points didn’t get added to a challenge that ended that day. Bug problems on the app. Have to shut it down when a workout is complete in order to do anything else on the app. Can’t do some things on the app- only on the website. Points are strange. 17 points for a single 15-pound squat, yet 5 points for 3 minutes of high-resistance bicycling?!? Who came up with that? And no chart to see what exercises earn what points. That would be very helpful. And the points don’t seem to adjust based on your age or weight. Very clunky and user-unfriendly. I would change apps in a heartbeat, but my friends are already here and in the middle of some challenges, and we don’t want to bother with finding a better app right now. This does do the job of getting us to workout, but it really stinks.
  • How is this app still such a mess?

By No, I am The Stig (Pcmac user)

I got into Fito years ago, not long after they first started. I left the site after they released a major update to production that was completely unusable, demonstrating that they weren’t serious about their QA testing. Having just started lifting recently, I thought I’d come back and see what it’s like now. What do I find? Searching for exercises, I can’t see what I type into the search bar. When I complete a workout, the screen that I assume is supposed to show me my score doesn’t show me anything. And when I go to view the workout, it shows up on the day before I added it to. Stupid bugs that show this team is clearly still not serious about testing their updates prior to release. I’m done.
