Install Thieme Bookshelf app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Thieme Bookshelf on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Thieme Bookshelf"
- The search will reveal the Thieme Bookshelf app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Thieme Bookshelf is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Thieme Bookshelf.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Thieme Bookshelf,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Thieme Bookshelf" » then Click "Install".
- Thieme Bookshelf will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Won’t accept password

Terrible experience with the app ebooks. My credential doesn’t work on app even though it is taken on the app website. There is no place to request a new password. You have to email them. Good luck if they answer you.

Beautiful pictures - search fxn doesn't work

I love the the app books and this ebook was just what I was looking for. The way it works is the app is free, but then you need to buy books to fill the shelves.
Two major problems though:
1) It takes 6 minutes (I timed it on multiple bandwidths) to load the book I purchased through the Bookshelf app. If I loaded it recently, I can return to it without reloading it, but if too much time has passed, I have to sit there while it loads again. And, of course, you can't switch apps while you're waiting.
2) THE SEARCH FUNCTION DOESN'T WORK! I paid $50-60 for an ebook, and the search function doesn't work?! Unacceptable. (Note: The books are also accessible online, and the search function does work that way.)
