Install Play Counter app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Play Counter on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Play Counter"
- The search will reveal the Play Counter app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Play Counter is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Play Counter.
- Now enjoy Play Counter on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Play Counter Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Play Counter,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Play Counter" » then Click "Install".
- Play Counter will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

I'm a first time assistant coach and yesterday was our first game. I was nominated to count plays and I was ready to throw my clip board over the fence after the first quarter. As soon as I got home I jumped on the computer to see if I could make it easier by using a spreadsheet or something; then I wondered if there was an APP out there for this. This was the only one I could find and I just went ahead and purchased it. One of the first things I noticed was that I couldn't change the minimum number of plays - it's just stuck on 12. Depending on how many players we have at the game, the number of minimum plays can change to 10. It lets you input a number, but it doesn't save - it just defaults to 12. It would also be nice to be able to save each game and give statistics as to how many plays each player played per quarter and then be able to export it to a spreadsheet format or something. I'm sure I'll find other things I'd like this APP to include, but it's a great start!!! Thank you, I'll be using this APP for sure next Saturday.

Made game day a much better experience. This is the third year I have used this app. Makes counting plays quicker and more accurate. I even get to watch some of the game.

Very helpful app

Like the other reviewers, one game of counting plays with a clipboard led me straight to iTunes praying for an app. This is infinitely better than using paper. I agree with most of the suggestions made by others for improvements I'd like to see made by the developer. With them I'd have paid whatever the developer asked.
To the others requesting the ability to save games, I've been using copy/paste into Notes then emailing each note to my laptop. Copy the text into Excel and it's easy to set up better data analysis than I'd get out of the app anyway.

Three stars because the app isn't as robust as I was hoping; still, all the basic functionality is worth a purchase so this developer can afford to take it to the next level.
I'm so excited to see that someone has finally put the features of these devices to use in this way. This is a wonderful start and there really isn't anything else out there that does this ... I have looked!
