Great for kids with or without special needs

My son has autism and is non verbal and he LOVES this app! As do I! I love the fact that parents can choose which activities will come up for their child because my son cant do them all and if they kept popping up it would be very frustrating for him and discouraging. The way the screen is set up when the questions are being asked is great! The answer choices are limited to only 3 so it doesn’t overwhelm the child, and there’s nothing else on the screen to distract the child (except for the two people in the corners, which did distract my son a little first, but now he’s used to them being there). And the magic stamp you get after 3 questions is great because it gives the child instant gratification without being too redundant. If it was after every question it would be too much and if it was after more questions I feel like that wouldn’t give him the “praise” he needs to want to keep going often enough. This app is awesome! It is by far my favorite kids app! To the people who created this app: you should get a magic stamp!! Well done!!

This app is awesome and educative just like the other edu-kitty apps. One point for improvement on this one, compared to the other edu-kitty apps is that it doesn't give enough time for celebration and starts the next exercise without allowing a slight pause following the applause. As a parent I then have to say out the instruction again as my daughter wouldn't have heard the full thing. This makes it pointless when she does it by herself as she ends up doing trial and error without getting the point of the lesson. Apart from that, totally worth the investment.
