Install NBack for iPad app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using NBack on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "NBack"
- The search will reveal the NBack for iPad app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once NBack is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including NBack.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use NBack,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "NBack" » then Click "Install".
- NBack for iPad will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Needs adjustments

I had a hard time figuring it out- what the task was, and how it worked. For example, it stops when you make a mistake and requires a new start, where all other nbacks I've tried keep on going for a set number of trials- make a mistake and plow on. It's really fast, too fast, and requires instant counts of objects of up to 9 at once. I can't complete the count in the time allotted, so I'm failing not due to memory but simply never getting the answer in the first place.
I'll probably try it again, but I'm off to a bad start and not liking it.
