LCSW Clinical Social Worker Exam Prep for Pc

After testing this for a few days I’ve found this test repeats the same questions frequently. It also doesn’t clearly state the correct answer and instead gives you the letter. It would be nice to review the other options with the correct answer written clearly. Maybe you can do that but the UX isn’t strong enough to understand it simply. Overall visual design gets 0 stars since it looks like a ppt template.

What's Great: • Can time self in tests. Helps to measure your pacing through the exam. • Can focus on specific areas • Comprehensive info, lots of good material. No limits like other aps. • Easy to use ap. Ways to improve: • In test mode, when questions are answered wrong, the correct answer is shown. Please include the original choices to that screen as well as correct answer. When I see what the right answer is, it helps to see the original choices so I can learn what was wrong and better understand the correct answer. • Add feature to see statistics of prior tests. I'd like to see list of my past tests taken, length, areas studied, and score.

Beware: These questions are NOTHING like the real questions by the clinical ASWB exam. The fact that they use ASWB in their name is misleading. And it's cheap so it seem like something worth trying - but DONT! This company, like many test prep companies, is not created by social workers. Please research this company, Upward Mobility, (and any companies you plan to use) before you buy from them and spend your time reviewing them. I recommend doing a google search and look at 5-6 of the top programs that come up. 1) Read their reviews. If they don't have full names, then assume most of the reviews are fake. 2) Read who is in charge at the company. This is the most important part. If the company isn't run by social workers then THEY DIDNT TAKE THE EXAMS. Even if the company has social workers make sure THOSE PEOPLE HAVE TAKEN THE EXAMS. Otherwise, in both those situations, the companies are just MAKING UP what they think is on the test and selling it to you. Then you WASTE YOUR $ and TIME studying the WRONG stuff and fail the exam. Worst of all you think it's you that failed. It never dawns on most people to think they were part of a SCAM. Well this company is part of that scam. It may just be $5, but it's still a scam. If you want to pass, do your research on the companies before you sign up for any of them. I'm a social worker and view this as a social justice issue because I am outraged that companies like this are ripping off my social work peers!

Serves its purpose. Especially for the price. Definitely gives a refresher on social work and clinical topics for the exam. However, it is annoying to use most of the time. The following improvements would be ideal: 1. Allow the option to randomly go through practice questions instead of only through each section sequentially. 2. When a question is "reviewed and understood" take it out of rotation. Also, give the option to exclude "understood" questions from the practice tests. 3. The scroll down feature through the questions is WAYYY too sensitive. You can't even scroll without clicking into a question almost everytime. Maybe add another column just for scrolling? 4. There are some typos. Also, one question lists the same answer choice twice. And one endangerment vs. neglect question is outdated. Time for an edit. I'd be willing to pay a few more dollars for the app with these improvements.
