Install CADintosh X app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using CADintosh X on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "CADintosh X"
- The search will reveal the CADintosh X app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once CADintosh X is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including CADintosh X.

Love CADintosh X

I used an earlier version of the app (2008) to render the architectural drawings for a large, complex two-story art studio that I build for my wife. They passed the building inspecter's approval, so I was good.
As for comments about "learing curve" and not easy to use, it is not the program but the task. the app tools are excellent, but you have to understand archectural drafting techniques. Having said that, I am not trainined as an architect, I am a psychologist in human-computer interaction, but I took the time to learn and the results were great.
Wasn't about to pay hundred's it not thousands for a professional program like AutoCAD ($1600 a year) or REVIT ($2300 a year). $34 US is a huge bargan. Especially, since I am using this version to render the drawings for an addition to my two-story garden shed.
By the way, this app reads the old files from 10 years ago! You go Lemke!

Lacking

THe software and the manual don't agree on a lot of things. I was expecting a layout similar to a piece of drafting paper with the information blocks and all. Instead I am presented with a blank page that I have to go through and draw all that before I can start my drawing. Very disappointed. I wish I could have tried it before buying it. What a waste of US$34!

I bought it and cannot get it to do much of anything. I cannot draw a line to a specified length. When attempted, it draws to some other length and when dimensioned it calls out another length. When I follow the instructions, the app does not respond according to what it should do. The seller responds with “read the instructions”.
