What is mobiCeliac [Scanner]?
mobiCeliac [Scanner] is a mobile application that provides gluten-free food information for Spain. It allows users to scan the barcode labels of food, drink, and medicine products using their device camera and automatically checks whether or not it is included in the Food and Drink Directory and in the Medicines Directory of gluten-free products in Spain. The app also helps users recognize food categories and product ingredients to identify the gluten risk or gluten content level.
1. - Use your device camera as a reader of barcode labels (EAN13, UPC, etc) found in packaging of food & drink products and drugs/medicines you can find in SPAIN.
2. This app checks automatically whether or not it is included in the Food and Drink Directory and in the Medicines Directory of gluten-free products in SPAIN.
3. Now you can access more than 18,000+ gluten-free food & drink barcodes and all medicine barcodes that are distributed or sold in SPAIN.
4. This app is targeted to help people suffering from Coeliac Disease (CD) or other gluten-sensitivity diseases.
5. Just select "Data update" from the main menu, tap the "Download" button and wait until it finishes.
