Still needs a little polish

This company has an impeccable line of apps to stand behind. This one's not quite how the description states it, but it's still good. Not really a "hidden object" game since the cards aren't hidden but merely the narrator says the word and the child picks it out. The word at the bottom that correlates to the picture could be bigger making it easier for the app fingers to find to have the narrator repeat the word. Right now the word is said once and my 2 year old just kind of taps all the cards like she didn't quite catch the pronunciation. I know this one says it quickly so it can be a racing scenario, but I'm more interested in my child learning than racing at this point. Maybe they could incorporate sayings from their other apps like, "find the .....", or "where is the ...". That would be 5 stars down the road. Thanks for all the great work in any event!!

This is such a neat the app app. Just as fun for the adults (the 2 player version is a blast!) as it is for kids. I would like to see it more customizable and maybe add letter recognition, as other reviewers have suggested. For our family, it works better to turn the sound "off" so that I can read out the words to my 3 year old. The automatic "spawning" of cards does get confusing for my the app one so hoping the update will take care of that!
Receptive identification on nouns

This is a great app for my students. This app works on receptively identifying nouns and has the added bonus of allowing the session to be timed or untimed. There is also an option to allow the pictures to stay facing right side up or to be tipped sideways (in a messier array) creating a greater challenge as well as better generalization. There are three categories of items, food, animals, and items from around the house. The categories can be assigned to all show up at once or one category at a time. Further, the app starts with just a few pictures, and gradually increases to a larger field. I have found this app to be exciting and entertaining for my students while providing a valuable language lesson.

Such a wonderful app! I love how it can be used with a variety of students, areas of need, and ability levels. My only suggestions would be that the field of objects not increase as time goes on (or make this an option that can be turned on or off). Some of the pictures/objects are somewhat obscure. Overall, great game for my students! Thanks!
