Install Minimalist Timer app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Minimalist Timer on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Minimalist Timer"
- The search will reveal the Minimalist Timer app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Minimalist Timer is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Minimalist Timer.

Great app. Does what it says

This is a really nice and well designed app. It functions exactly how it is described, and has a degree of flexibility which I didn't expect in such a the app tool. You can adjust the timer to various input defaults, or to any measurable point within a tolerance level most people will not require to be more precise. You can opt to have it beep (or not) buzz (or not) vibrate, etc. when the timer expires. You can remove chunks of time in preset amounts as well, and there is a respectable level of further adjustments that can be made within the tool. But the signature feature here is design. The interface is so perfect that it appears to have been brought to us by Apple. Intuitive and understated, the rheostat design is elegant to the point of being zen. I hope the developer continues to work at making more of this type of wonderful, functional app.

Finally, a timer I like!

I must have looked at a couple dozen egg, kitchen, game, etc. timers before I finally found this one -- and now I'm done looking.
My only criticism is that if you fail to stop the timer before starting a new time, you can lose up to nearly a full second. I would suggest automatically synchronizing the internal counter whenever the timer is restarted from zero.
An future upgrade request would be more sound choices or the ability to record custom sounds.
Still, this is the best simplest timer I've found and I'm thrilled to have it and applaud that it was offered free.

Elegant, simple beautiful, just wish for a more appropriate chime sound

This is a wonderful little app. To me, the available tones are a bit unsettling. It would approach perfection if there were one or more meditation bells or gongs included. Still, for not having all those mindless, annoying "extra features" and clutter: 5 stars.
