  • Cool app!

    By Christophosho (Pcmac user)

I never downloaded the old version, but this version installed by itself flawlessly, and works so well. It is a little limited since you are not using a true mask or anything but for the price, how can you complain. As long as it installs and does what it shows you on the video demonstration, it’s absolutely worth it. So far I love it! It saved me so much time in a pinch. Thanks for the awesome app!
  • Install Problems -- - Here's how to fix it !!

By Very Bogus App (Pcmac user)

I'm going to explain the workaround on how to install this mediocre plugin …. OK .. 1) Go to your 'Applications' folder and locate the "the app-Shift" app.. 2) 'Right-Click' it and select 'Show Package Contents' .. 3) Open the 'Contents' folder .. 4) Open the 'Resources' folder .. 5) 'Double-click' the "the app-Shift .moef" file …. This will open up Motion 5 …. 6) From this point follow the instructions provided on this page or in the app where they have Motion 5 opened …. It will work. The installer is totally lame. It doesnt work, just like everyone is complaining about… So fix the problem already! AT LEAST re-write your explanation on here of how to install it. Put a work around …
  • Needs an update but does what it says… and well.

The automated link in the app does not work. After downloading, go to your applications folder and show contents of the app. Navigate to resources and open the motion file inside. Then save as. It works great after that! Would have gave five stars if not for the faulty link.
  • Dirt Cheap, does what it says it will.

The directions are a little wonky. It's been awhile since I installed it, but it wasn't exactly self-explanatory. Once installed though, it does a great job of creating the this app effect right out of the effects bin in fcpx.
