  • A joy to use

This is one of the best weather apps I could find for weather in South Africa! I’m very close to giving it 5*, however, the ad removal price/year is not correct. It states that it cost $1 less in the app than what is presented to you once you are about to pay. I don’t mind paying a $ more, but at least make sure that it’s not misleading then. Keep up the great work on this, it’s truly someone exceptional to be using as a South African. *I’ll subscribe and update this review as soon as the discrepancies are fixed
  • Incredibly detailed

We run a car wash - so as you can imagine, our business relies heavily on knowing what weather to expect on a daily and even hourly basis. I've found the WeatherSA app to drill down into incredible detail! Very useful and highly recommended.

Information is often totally confused and not thoroughly updated. For example Hillcrest and Durban ( Balito) for Tuesday 10th April overview says 28 deg C with NE WINDS and no rain whereas the detailed forecast completely contradicts with SW WINDS and lower temps. Wednesday shows clouds and rain in the picture icon whereas the detail shows sun throughout . This type of confusion doesn't make for a trustworthy site. All winds and strengths thereof are most often incorrectly forecast. The kph is mostly way under the actual. Durban Sunday 8th April typical example. SA weather has a long road to walk before it can stand in the same line up as the windgurus of this world.
  • Useless

    By hupo_stasis (Pcmac user)

Consistent inaccurate weather forecasting!! Use the default iPhone weather app- much more accurate! This app always takes the middle ground- eg. 60% chance of rain all day for days on end when in reality you get clear blue skies and maybe a storm that night. After a day they update the morning part to what actually happened. Forecasting is future tense!!!!!! What good is it at 6:00pm to to update that mornings weather to "no rain" when all day you said "60% chance of showers" for that morning?? If we relied on your forecasting we'd never go outside...
