  • GREAT FOR SYNCING

By Movies and Series Collector (Pcmac user)

Dont know either why this app was getting bashed here and there. Mac users don’t have a lot of options when it comes to subtitle editing. I bought this to re-sync the app with different time stamps. The only apps available for mac users that do this allow you to sync 2 time stamp points to re-sync. This app allows you multiple (as many as you want) time stamp points, producing a pretty accurate, newly synced subtitle file. A lot of video files of the same content can run at different speeds and frames as well as extended or decreased times from one scene to another. The option for multiple sync points takes care of that. Finally i found an app for mac that allows me to re-sync the app to my liking. So far it’s worked great. If I find future flaws I will post it up here, but for now I can say I am a happy customer. As far as re-syncing the app goes (don’t know about other uses), I give it 2 thumbs up.
  • Best Subtitling App for Mac - Needs Some Updating

    By araxara (Pcmac user)

I bought this app about 2 years ago. The app hasn’t been updated in 5 years. That said, however, it’s still the best subtitling app for the Mac. It keeps on working and rarely crashes. The only downside right now is that it’s having trouble loading some video files. In particular HVEC/H.265 videos which are now supported in High Sierra don’t load. I’ve also had some H.264 videos crash the app. The app could use some updating, such as a recompile with the latest Xcode and support for HVEC video format. There are some small UI changes that would help improve workflow. For example, the command to remove a subtitle only operates on one subtitle at a time. It would be nice to highlight several the app and then remove them.
  • Just not user friendly at all. A waste of time and money.

    By Characteer (Pcmac user)

At first it looked like a decent and simple software, but it is just not user friendly. It took me 5 minutes to figure out where to add the the app, the most important feature is almost invisible: You're supposed to click on "No Selection" to enter your text and it doesn't look like a text field. I had done most of the work adding the app to all the video, and I chose the encoding which deleted entirely my work. Most buttons don't mean a thing. Who ever made this app must review it's price for $0.99, and entirely rethink the user interface, and debug.
  • Great Program for Subtitles

    By TheDutchman1 (Pcmac user)

Once you figure out how to use it, it is great. The only thing that would be nice is to be able to edit the subtitle text. Unless I just have not figured out how to do so, yet.
