Great coin/bullion resource, but...

Firstly, I like the way this app is structured. It's truly a one-stop coin bullion collectors resource. When you're out shopping for coins or in need of a handy reference when you are away from your Red Book(s) this app is a gold mine. However, there's poor support and no fluctuation in the coin pricing. Also, the free appraisal service was non-existent for me. I sent over a few coins t be appraised and it went unanswered but the free appraisals remaining in my account were depleted and never returned. I sent an inquiry to the app owner (I had to research this through the App Store) and he did get back to me. He said that he would contact the appraisal team and resolve it. Well, that was several months ago and nothing. Again, great idea and great format but lacks in support and follow through. If they get that right I would give it a full 5 stars. Oh, I am not just someone who has just bought this app. I have had it for at least 4 years. Maybe longer.

I normally don't buy applications much less leave reviews however my expectations were far superseded and feel compelled to tell anyone interesting coins to buy this app! I used the appraise featured today on three separate coins 2 Morgan silver dollars and 1 week penny. All 3 of which I had already paid a pro to appraise them independently - I was curious to see how accurate this application would get and whomever reviewed my coins hit the nail right on the head. Within a dollar or two of the professional appraisal which cost me over $50. Only wish I would've known then what I know now. And that's that this application is better than great!

I've been taught the value of holding the warmth & purity of holding an historical piece of art and value stemming from, possessing something from a different Zeitgeist, or period of our culture. This is the only REAL app that gives you "real time values," that I've ever seen, to date. I'll admit, I got this app during a sale. The price listed as regular "retail" seemed....., excessive! I'd rather just use a computer, then?! They'll also give you foreign values...., if you write a review. It seems like a perfect act for aspiring numismatist, or fledgling collector. I'll need a little more time to give a definitive review.:) So far so good!

I'm not a professional collector; but for the coins in my collection, I found this app to be incredibly helpful. Not only do they list every U.S. coin imaginable, they keep their prices updated and current, to include the ever-changing daily price of gold and silver. I use this app above all other coinage apps, hands down; and I unreservedly recommend it to anyone looking for an app of this nature. Bravo to the developers and those who work so diligently to keep the information current!
