This app went totally haywire and I was quite upset and took my 5 stars down to 1. Whatever they fixed in the last few days got me logged in again and got my tracked numbers back. I didn't get a response from support, which is rather alarming, but as long as the app works better than all others, I'm putting back up to a 5. My previous 5 star review..... I've used some other apps with hopes of tracking my tickets and alerting me of winners. This is the only one that I've found that actually works. [A side effect is you can see how much money you've wasted on tickets too.] There's a lot of screen clutter and confusing entry screens, if you can find them. It takes awhile to get the hang of it. But, when you do, it's awesome. I like to scan and confirm tickets vs. entering the tickets on my own. One of my [deleted] lottery apps always shows matched numbers for the LAST drawing for any tickets, regardless of the date, it's worthless. This one puts a star on matched numbers. Plus, this one is "cloud based" and you need to login. The benefit is that it will send you an email if you've matched numbers and have a winner (sadly, the last 2 of mine that matched were $1 each). But, I can see it on my iPhone or iPad. I'm going to stick with this app (even though I always double check my tickets at a retailer's scanner). My only complaint is that the interface is "busy" and hard to navigate. At least this one works, if you can figure how it wants things done.

I started using this app about 4 months ago and at first it irked fine, but from time to time I have run into login issues and password reset issues. These were big issues because the current password was not recognized and resetting was a nightmare. Although I had these issues they were never long term. Now Since Jan 1st I am unable to scan tickets I logged out to see if restarting the app would solve the problem. Much to my surprise when I wine to log ack in my password did not work. The link to generate an email to reset the password as beset with problems. It took more than 10 tries before it finally worked, but not so fast. I received an email with a link to reset my password. It took in excess of 25 times before the reset pastor page worked. Now it was time to go ack to my original intent of scanning tickets. Not only did the scanning fail, al of my previously saved tickets were gone. When the apps it is I great, but it's like this are time consuming and counterproductive. If these bugs can be fixed this would be a fantastic app. If not don't waste your time.

This app is helpful in the way it will tell you if you have numbers. The only thing is that is does not tell you how many number or what prize you may have won if any. This is a feature I think would improve the usage and popularity of the app. As for the scanner feature of this app, why take a picture? Can't an actual scanner that a lot of users have be used by the app to achieve the scanning process? It all feels so cumbersome an ancient. So if these changes are possible, please do it. By-the-way, how the drawing goes for the gift cards is interesting. The person with the most points get the gift card? Will the points be returned if you are not the winner? If not then why participate. That needs to be refined a bit and then it may catch on even more with everyone. Idea is good, execution poor. Seeing the lottery drawing and news stories are great, as well as, notifying public that there is a winning ticket not yet collected. Excellent! All and all not too bad. Always room for improvement.

The official app of Powerball and MegaMillions is ok, but it definitely has it's bugs. As for my use of it, the major bug I've seen is the apps lack of really good scanning of tickets and correctly recognizing the numbers on the tickets. Routinely the app does not successfully recognize all the numbers from at least one line and also routinely adds additional lines of partial numbers, leaving several numbers blank! Of course the user can manually enter their own numbers, but one of the purposes of even downloading this app from an official lottery's site is to be able to do just that, scan the ticket allowing the app to do everything else. I'd also like to have available the following: 1) Single entry on one device and then have multiple additional devices automatically updated, 2) Have some kind of notification of winnings, 3) Allowing multiple deletions of expired past tickets w/o having to delete each past tickets individually, one by one (extremely tedious)!
