  • Great app for content, navigation needs improvement

    By Awilbourn (Pcmac user)

The app is great to give native pronunciation for the words. However, it could use improvement on how to navigate back and forth. You see the dots at the bottom of the screen, but some may not know that you swipe to get to them. I would rather like to see a top nav to get back to the main screen. It would be nice to have the words dump to my music to just listen to them over and over. Perhaps that could be an option in the future. It could be improved to have sentences with the word to help show how it might be used and I think it helps to hear the word be used with others. I think the audio part is what makes it worth the money. I saw some complain you had to purchase so get any value, they most likely got confused with the bad nav. The free version worked, only had a limited number of verbs. You really can't expect everything to be free. The company spent many hours pulling the voice part together and the short videos, not sure if that worked in the free version as I just noticed them after I purchased. What would be cool to have is for the app to let you say the words and give feedback for how close your pronunciation is.
  • Must Have!

    By anon/anonymous (Pcmac user)

This has really helped me in my the app class. Although I know the app, I have a difficult time with the "proper" the app terms with adjectives, verbs etc. This app is a HUGE help and is on point with words to flip to it's translation, so no more multiple apps or constantly re-writing the words to translate each time you forget it. This app you can just simply scroll down to it. Maybe they'll soon update it to where you can just touch the letter of the first word that you need (shortcut) But even without that, this app is there to help, it even reads the word for correct pronunciation, shows a short video to you as well if that wasn't enough to help you understand. This app is great to have and I highly recommend it (obviously). Thanks for a smooth running app, very helpful in my the app studies.
  • Latest Update Buggy as Hell

    By Miss Conjagator (Pcmac user)

I just updated to the latest version of this app. As a result, it has gone from one of my "go to" apps to a "no go" app. Problems include: (1) function button that disappears when device is placed in the horizontal position; (2) voice overlay that keeps repeating itself, and; (3) type-in-answer function that does not work correctly. The thing that bothers me, is that these are front facing features. There's no chance that the developer was not aware of these issues before releasing the update. I hope the developer repairs it soon. It was one of the best.
  • Might be worth it

    By Another10$Lost (Pcmac user)

I tried the free version and I'm glad I didn't have to buy it first. It's not a bad app especially if you are just starting out but you'll have to purchase the full version. I like the layout on the Ipad. I'm not rating it low because of the fact the free version only has 5 verbs like others have done. I get that. My complaint is that it only has 6 verb tenses and leaves out many very important conjugations like the subjunctive. I just feel for free there are other apps out there that may not look as pretty or polished but provide more thorough instruction.
