Install Pear Note app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Pear Note on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Pear Note"
The search will reveal the Pear Note app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Pear Note is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Pear Note.
Now enjoy Pear Note on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Pear Note,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Pear Note" » then Click "Install".
- Pear Note will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Great concept but lots of bugs

I have been using this app on a weekly basis for a couple of years now. It is a great little program and helps tremendously when you are taking notes at technical meetings where lots of people are talking at once and you need to capture what everyone says. But, in the last few months, I have had nothing but problems with the app crashing during audio playback. I have tried to work with their tech support to resolve the problem but, none of their fixes have resolved the crashes. I think it may be incompatible with the current iOS. I will probably be forced to find a new note taking app because the crashes are just too frequent for the app to be of much use anymore. Very unfortunate.
Hasn't been seriously updated since iOS 4

I'm a little sore about this. The developer seems to think that no serious work needs to be done on this app since it was completed somewhere around iOS 4. It's a niche app, so it's good enough, I guess. I feel like I didn't get the value I was expecting.
Love this App. Please update to be compatible with iOS 11

Extremely infrequent updates, lots of bugs

Lazy developers are inattentive to improvement suggestions and the apps for mobile are all but useless. When they finally do update the software it introduces MORE bugs, not less. Use Evernote or something else. These clowns are just reaping the app sales at this point for this antiquated piece of junk.
