Download an Android emulator for PC:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Check Off,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Check Off" » then Click "Install".
- Check Off - A Task Manager will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Very useful app

I find this app very helpful and always at the ready in the menu bar to refer to and add to dos as necessary. What's especially helpful is that you can set up multiple folders with tasks to keep distinct projects and personal vs work tasks. It's very easy to edit tasks and you can attach notes to any task you wish. The author, Lucien, is awesome. He's quick to respond to questions or bug reports and, more importantly, gets on them and fixes them fast. I'd give this 6 stars if this app would sync to iCloud or Dropbox!
DOESNT WORK

After purchasing the app, when I open it, All I get is the spinning becah ball, then for a second or so, it will stop. Then when I click on it again, the spinning beach ball returns. I'd like a refund or at least an update to fix the app.
Great tool! just needs a Search box

Great GTD tool. I've tried many and this is the best. It lets you add entries quickly and follows you from screen to screen if you use Mission Control. Most other GTD tools stay on one screen, so when you want to add an entry or the app on your next To Do, you will need to go back to the original screen and/or relaunch the app -- very inconvenient process. Comments section works well and is available for each entry. It even takes URLs and small attachments (attachments appear as links), so you can really expand on a particular To Do item, if needed. With these simple and effective features, the app-off has morphed into a daily journal of sorts for me as well. DropBox sync works well. I ran into just one glitch in 3 months of use -- I was simultaneously updating the app-off on an iMac and a MacBook Air (different information entered into each device) and the app-off was not able to reconcile and update the two versions properly. Not a serious issue for me. One suggestion to the developer to make this a 5-star product -- please add a Search box, ideally similar to Apple's Search functionality in TextEdit.
Great Little Listmaker

I am so happy to see this app back! Though I use The Hit List and various notepads, they are often more than I need. Here I can pop items as I think of them and they quietly wait in the menubar, just a quick click away if I need to refer to them. This holds my 'today' list, little bits of info that I don't want to get lost in a big notepad, and reminders - very quick to add items.They can be labeld and categorized in folders, and notes added to each. A way to add due dates would be nice, but I'm using labels to rank things by urgency. Great app.
