Install Wiki Reader app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Wiki Reader on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Wiki Reader"
- The search will reveal the Wiki Reader app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Wiki Reader is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Wiki Reader.
- Now enjoy Wiki Reader on PC.

Good, for the first search.

This is a great application, if you only plan on making one search. As soon as you've made your first search and you click on the search bar again it crashes…EVERY TIME!!! Please fix. This happens in both full-screen and "normal" views. Mac OSX Lion, 2011 Macbook Air. Once fixed I'll give it an easy 4 stars.

On OS X 10.9.5 the app mostly works for me and is worth its price. Watch out for the two search boxes, you use the one on the left to search for articles and the one at the upper right to search within articles. The UI is a bit clunky but the ability to easily search within articles is appreciated. To change the font size, set the desired size in the Preferences and refresh the article (but see below). You can also set the translation(s) of Wikipedia you like to use. Wikipedia pages are rendered as expected including tables and images.
There are a few bugs however:
• preferences are not remembered between runs
• history is not remembered
• the “Pictures" slideshow crashes
• the toolbar is a non-standard implementation and can’t be switched off or edited

This is a nice little app. Instead of a dev gouging for a simple interface for Wikipedia -- an intentionally free encyclopedia, mind you -- here is someone graciously giving away one, and maintaining it. Thank you, Herr Prang.

Font too small

I have a 27" iMac and the font is too tiny to ready without zooming the screen. There is no way to increase the size of the font so I can only give it 1 star. You left out a critical and necessary feature, font size adjustment.
