Good game, weird flaws

I love playing this game. It is a great mix of challenging yet still simple enough for casual play.
However, there are two flaws. First, the ads really get in the way of actually using the app. On numerous occasions, I have tried to use the app, but clicked on the advertisement by accident. Actually, I think I avoided the banner entirely, but I am still directed to the website. Second, the online challenge forum is frequently down, without any explanation or even an express statement that it is not available. If the server is overloaded or crashing or whatever, at least tell us. These flaws are significant, and really get in the way of enjoyable gameplay.

I can't get past a certain point because the computer gains food ALOT faster n somehow they send out multiple people at once of the same type and I have never been able to get online access I can on all my other games so its not me so it has to be you and so I can't get anymore new troops I don't even spend money on games but if I can earn the coins or whatever to upgrade and gain more types of people but I can't get online to do that .

Good concept but glitchy

The game has some fun mechanics (battle, spells, warrior leveling), but the online PvP system hasn't worked once since I started playing. There's also a very steep increase in AI difficulty from level 4 to level 5, to the point that further progression is impossible without spending lots of cash on crystals (typical free-to-play mechanic, I get it). At present, with its unbalanced FTP system in place and the PvP broken (and necessary to buy new warriors) the game is only passable at best.

horrible advertising

i cannot stand the incredibly intrusive, in your face advertising. they keep trying to sell some other game after i have paid for this one, and the stupid add actually partially overlaps some game controls. just really tasteless and annoying. come on. i understand you want to make money but do not put the same dumb ad up in the bottom of the screen OVER AND PVER AND OVER AND YES WE GET THE POINT AND DO NOT WANT TO CLICK ON THE AD OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER. You see? that is how annoying it is. only more so. a lot more.
