  • Deceptive

    By CareyAndrew (Pcmac user)

I am sick of this app. Even after you do the in app upgrade, every time you go to options it continues to blink at you like you haven’t purchased anything. I think I’ve accidentally “purchased“ this app upgrade three times now, which I suppose technically is the app fault but they keep screaming at you to upgrade even after you have. You can’t turn it off. Plus it’s just erased all the app books and apparently the only way to sign in to retrieve them is by using Facebook, which most of us would prefer her not to use as a login. Some other option ought to be available on this also. The app itself works fine but I’m tired of the deceptive in app purchase bit that they have never corrected. So I’ve ( reluctantly ) deleted the app. ( Apple helpfully gave me a refund on this “upgrade” also). Hope this helps somebody.
  • Excellent Support

I bought this app several years ago and at the time had an iPhone 4S. I had a collection of over 200 motorcycle books and relied on this app to remind me of what I had when looking at new possibilities. As the app was revised, it required IOS 10, but the app 4S stopped updating at iOS 9. Once I updated to an iPhone 8Plus, I contacted the app developer and explained that I could not get the app to load the app library history. Within 12 hours I was contacted by him and told that the history files were reset so that they could now be imported directly onto the app new phone. I followed his directions and all of the app book collection was restored. Many thanks!
  • A Rip-Off!

    By Rameth279 (Pcmac user)

The free *trial* of this app that allows you to scan a limited number of barcodes to show you how everything works, worked perfectly. So, I decided to pay the $.99 for the app. THEN once I did that, I was prompted to pay another $.99 for the barcode scanner. So, I did that too. THEN when I opened the app again to scan more books, the ones I’d already scanned disappeared. It gets worse. You see a list of tabs in the settings section but the only one you can click on is the one that takes you to literally pay for every single feature the app offers, which should’ve been included in the $2 I already paid. $5 for a CSV export, and $5 for auto input of the books details, etc. This is literally a rip-off app that baits you with a perfectly working demo, but then SURPRISE nothing works unless you pay nearly $20 for all the standard features.
  • Another FREE app that dollars you to death..

By United States of Communism (Pcmac user)

I like supporting app developers but they have “mostly” all decided they are going to dollar all iOS users to death or charge an outrageous amount to buy an app in whole- if your even able to do so I.e EVERNOT. So I download this app to just create a want list for books. I pay a dollar after I scan in about 10 books into the app library. Then after a few more books I am prompted to pay more money to add more bookshelf space. I at this point have just slightly over 10-15 books saved. The app is $10 total which because we are all using iOS no one knows until it is “WAY TOO LATE”. This has all begun to become a money trap because APPLE has designed the entire platform to be a money rating monster. That is all it does. It eats your money. And it gives very little back.
