Helps to be able to choose one square to solve instead of the whole puzzle being filled in. Sometimes one is all that is needed to move forward.
Overpromises

Good app for giving a solution to all cells or any one cell you might select but I still only give it two stars because of its misleading description. If you are looking for a solver that gives you a hint to the next logical cell to solve, then this is not it. So this is why the developer needs remove the word "hint" from the description of this app or fix it so that it does provide this info which is what most the app fans are looking for in solver, I believe.
Very misleading description

Claims it will give the next hint when one is stuck on a puzzle. Does not do that. It will only solve one box you select, or it will solve all boxes. Description claims it will give a hint, which is what most people will want. Also claims various other capabilities, like import and export a puzzle. None of that is in the very crude and limited menu. No help menu, either, to find out how to do anything. This will be deleted immediately. Sounded good, failed to deliver.
Best app for doing Sudoku

I use the app to help solve the really difficult problems, I get as far as I can, then I use it. Well laid out, for both single numbers and checking the answers.
