There is a complex way to create seamless patterns and there is the this app way to create seamless patterns. Simple and quick. I can produce stunning patterns in no time.

I can't find anywhere on the this app Support link to leave issues, but the text support doesn't seem to work quite right. If you open the sample text "British Invasion" and change the font to Zapfino, it seems to have several unsupported characters (I see large, reversed question marks).

I gave a one-star rating because bugs prevent the app from being useful for its appointed task. It's difficult to generate a graphic that, when tiled, will display the proper pattern. (Off-by-one errors are typical, where the graphic edges shift by one pixel where they meet, so that you can see the outline of the tile in a background that was supposed to be continuous.) I wanted a background of repeating text shifted 45 degrees. Entering text is problematic: sometimes extra spaces or funky characters will be drawn after the text you entered. I found no way to fix one that goes bad, so I have to add the text, see if it worked, and if not, delete it and try again. Depending on the length of the text string, wide gaps of extra space that you can't control may or may not appear. And even if you held your mouth right while entering the text, you can't rotate the end result, and the program won't adjust the tile size so it will repeat properly. Even if I forget about generating a tile and instead export the full background, sometimes graphics will look good on the screen and yet still exhibit errors in the exported graphic. I find this program exasperatingly difficult to use and get good results despite the fact it's a simple, one-trick pony.
