1. Please note: When you launch Word of the Day it will launch as a menu bar icon at the top-right of your screen.
2. Click its icon or the word to open the Word of the Day menu.
3. If your menu bar is completely full you may not see the Word of the Day icon until space is available for it.
4. Click the menu to see the word definition, synonyms, and a usage example.
5. Improve your vocabulary! Get a new word displayed in your menu bar every day.

Download and install the Word of the Day app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Word of the Day on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Word of the Day"
- The search will reveal the Word of the Day app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Word of the Day is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Word of the Day.
- Now enjoy Word of the Day on PC.

To get Word of the Day on Windows 11, check if there's a native Word of the Day Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Word of the Day:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Word of the Day" » Click "Install" to install Word of the Day
- Word of the Day will now be available on your windows start-menu.

This app is super cool to have, because it is interesting and it adds some swag to your home page. The words aren’t always challenging and sometimes they are weird slang type words, but it doesn’t hurt to refine your idea of terms that you THINK you already know. With all of this said, It does provide you with good words every so often. There are some bugs and it is not perfect, but If you don’t like it, then get another this app app! Oh wait….

Doesn’t Work

When I tried to use no words came up and sometimes it would say “check connection” but I had perfect wifi. Thought I would give it a few days but didn’t end up changing. Great idea for an app. Wish it worked or there were other similar ones

Won’t even open.

Do not get this app, I have had it for months and it has yet to open once. It is constantly saying to test my connection, when I have perfect wifi. Don’t waste your money.

Doesn’t work
