  • Wonderful service!!

    By Gabbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb (Pcmac user)

I’ve been using this app for 4 years now. It’s not a perfect system, but at least in my experience here at the University of Florida, I have always been well-taken care of. Their app is pretty nice and easy to use. And I can’t get upset with them because this app is also used by the merchants on campus, like the staff at Chick-fil-a. The staff on campus can be really BAD when it comes to using their this app, but every time I have had a complaint that I submitted through the this app app, this app staff has always emailed me back in a very timely manner and even though it wasn’t their fault necessarily, they still took responsibility since it is their service. They pass on my comments to the workers and some times they give me compensation like a couple of dollars of credit for my time. The service fee is at times a little like “ahhhh basically a dollar per charge” but in times when they’ve refunded me because the merchant was extremely rude and delayed me, it was worth paying that service fee for customer protection like this. In short... this app has always pulled through for me. It’s the workers on campus that may need to have more helping hands or training to balance their inperson orders and their this app customers. Thank you, this app, for always providing me with food that I can fit in my schedule!!!
  • Worst customer service

    By Scooooooooooooobbby (Pcmac user)

So to start off, they jack up the price of the menu items, so it makes the delivery charge look lower. So a $4 delivery charge is actually about a $15 when you compare the menu prices. So i just placed my order and got a full order of chicken fried rice along with other items. I received my order and opened the bag and all that was included was a side order of normal rice that costs only about $4. This was also on the receipt from the store. But my receipt on this app said what i had actually ordered and $12. My total order was $53 while the receipt for the store was $30. I contacted their chat service and all they could do (in broken English) was continue to tell me sorry all they could do was credit me $11 to my this app account, not even reimburse my card. When i asked for a number to call they just said “i apologize for this inconvenience.” They then stopped replying even though the chat bubbles would appear every so often. I tried the number i found online and of course nothing. Do yourself a favor and download bite squad. Their drivers are professional, customer service is excellent, and best of all they don’t lie about prices on their menus so it is way way cheaper, usually only a 2.99 flat delivery. I will never be using this app again.
  • Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever seen

    By Meagan Bown (Pcmac user)

After waiting an hour and forty minutes for my food which was quoted at an hour for delivery, I received food so cold I couldn’t eat it. I also received the wrong drink, and no straw. Obviously displeased with the service, I filed a complaint about the bad service. The driver could have at least called to inform me they didn’t have my drink option, but instead they chose a drink a random. this app doesn’t allow you to tip after the fact either if you’re using a card- it only allows pre-tips. I waited for weeks for an email response to my initial complaint, and I emailed them again. They finally replied about a week later and just said “thanks for the feedback”. Did not offer a refund or anything. So I emailed again asking for a refund, because I didn’t even get to eat the food. Weeks later, still no reply. I email again and finally receive a response, and they gave me $8 in credits on this app, only replacing half the money I spent on the first order. When I emailed to ask why I was only receiving half credit back, they ignored my email. Again. this app pick-up is fine, I’ve never had a single issue with that. Delivery and customer service however- completely awful.
  • Awful! Awful! Awful!

    By AJP8150 (Pcmac user)

this app, specifically the Raleigh one, is just unbelievably terrible. I have stuck it out with them for almost 2 years in hopes that the continuing issues would change or be fixed. But to no avail. The delivery time changes without you even knowing. It typically takes over an 1 1/2 for food to be assigned to a driver, and then arrive. Almost every single order I have placed in the last 2 years has been wrong. Either an item is missing, or the order has something that I explicitly stated I did not want. As a delivery service, they should be mindful to double check what is and is not being given based on the comments made through THEIR app. To top it all off, when you give feedback to the support chat, they are always kind but never offer a real solution to the problems. They always give you $2 or $3 delivery credit and call it a day. How do you expect to be successful if you cannot work on improving your issues? Today is the final straw for me. I would much rather pay ridiculous delivery fees from competing services than deal with this app’s inefficiency.
