Hard 5 for convenience factor and customer service. I use this weekly instead of dragging two small children around the store and ending up with way too much junk. I find that I save money as well as time by buying only things that I need instead of impulse shopping. My local Teeter employees are always quick, helpful and friendly. Many times I will write in products that I know they have but the app can’t find, and the employees always get me what I want. They pick great produce, they're always quicker than the approximate pickup time says and they call me as soon as they’re finished to let me know if anything was out of stock and suggest replacement products. They pack and load groceries with care and a smile. The app is a little glitchy. It would be helpful and save a little time to have an “add to cart” button instead of “view item” button on some pages in the app. The search and find needs some work. It would be nice for the search to begin populating as you are entering search items based on items in store or from previous purchases, not items that you have just typed in this session. When using search and find, I have found that I have to type specific brand names to find certain things. For example, typing in chicken only populates about 5 items. Overall, a great service offered by HT but the app could use some TLC!

I started using the app in June 2019. At the time, I could add items to my cart and shop at the store according to aisle location. That function disappeared and the current method would be helpful if items were grouped differently. For example, fresh herbs are physically located in Produce, but instead appear in the Ingredients category. Sausage and bacon are physically located in the Meat department but on the app appear under Breakfast category. Buttermilk, milk, and Half and Half are physically located in the Dairy section but certain brands appear in the Beverage category but not in the Dairy category in the app. Under the Frozen category, I’m supposed to find Rana brand mushroom ravioli (actually in the Deli) and Unsweeted coconut chips (actually in the baking aisle). I could go on, but I won’t. Please bring back the shop-by-aisle function to make finding items easier and reduce the amount of back tracking I’m forced to do.

Our last order was shopped by VAN. (If VAN is not a “he”, I will apologize in advance! 😔) He took the greatest of care in selecting our items and followed our notes PERFECTLY! EVERY ITEM was as if I had picked it out myself and when it comes to my money and my family, I am an EXTREMELY PICKY SHOPPER! VAN cared as much about my groceries as he would have cared about his own! He gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s for this alone. Plus this is the VERY FIRST TIME EVER in all my years of online shopping at this app that NOT ONE single item we ordered was out of stock! This says to me that VAN went to the trouble to hunt down and find EXACTLY what was ordered! SO MANY TIMES before when we have been told that an item was out of stock, we knew for a fact the item was right there on the shelf! Not only was this an inconvenience but it was extremely disappointing, even maddening and on occasion, INFURIATING! 😡 VAN deserves a personal THANK YOU from me and a RAISE from you! By the way, have you considered making VAN a STORE MANAGER? 🤔 Thank you VAN! You have restored my faith in this app! I’ve been using the app and online shopping service for over a year now. The app is easy to use, searchable and keeps a history of orders to order from again. I order 2-3 times a week, so with an annual subscription that calculates out to under $1.00 per online order. My time and sanity is certainly worth that, so now I ask myself why I didn’t utilize this service sooner. Initially, I feel my hesitation was my lack of motivation in learning another app. Pick a lazy Sunday afternoon and start adding items to your cart. It will save if you don’t finish. Once you place the order, it will be ready in a couple of hours and the store will call to confirm it’s ready. You’ll be hooked and grocery shopping on the couch in no time!!
