Install Minitube for YouTube app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Minitube"
The search will reveal the Minitube for YouTube app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Minitube is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Minitube.

Playback issues

Please fix the playback issue. I mean it, this can't go on. Plus please add a touchbar feature for it.

Fast forwarding doesn't work properly. The app hangs regularly, so you must "force quit." (I very much wish there was a way to get a refund for this.) User interface is bad. (Using a brand new iMac so it's not system performance issue.)
Good viewing experience, but NO Download option

A decent viewing experience overall, but unlike the version purchased directly from the developer's website, this version has NO Download option for videos. It's only meant as a pure watching experience. Had I known this I would have opted for the non-App Store version, I love to save any nifty videos I come across for small projects and such, but now I've spent the money I had in reserve for a pretty obsolete app, when it comes to my specific needs. I do understand App Store restrictions limited the addition of this feature, but there should have been a disclaimer somewhere in the description stating so. With a product that shares the same exact name as the other, one can only expect the same features, but this is clearly not the case here. The only place where it is noted that this version includes No Download option is in a small strip of text found on the download page of the product, under a small download button. Not very conspicuous to consumers if you ask me. ONLY for watching, NOT for downloading. Be forewarned.

Nice app with neat interface. Simple, pretty, useful. Doesn't load CPU cause doesn't use Flash. Fast feedback. I sent the letter to dev on sat and yet got his response on sun (!). As for the download feature you request here you'll never get this in MAS because of the MAS restrictions. Send your request to dev with a copy of MAS receipt and he'll provide you with retail ver. Hopefully this helps.
