Great! But the Guess Work is a Killer

I got this program to produce promotional material for a local festival. I liked the variety and different styles of mosaics that can be created, but none of them resulted in what I was really looking for. If you select from a huge folder of pictures (around 1,000) the rendering time can take around five minutes, which is where having a preview would have come in handy. Another thing I was disappointed in was that desipte the fact I gave it around 1,000 photos to choose from it still wanted to use the same three pictures over a huge portion of the rendering. Tweaking can reduce most of it, but it takes the five minute wait before you know if you've tweaked it right. I did finally get what I was looking for, but I had to render the same image three different times and replace the parts I didn't like on one with another version in other the app editing software. All that being said, this is one of the better this app applications out there. It may be a little overpriced, but I'm hoping to get my money's worth out of it in the coming months.
quick and simple

Very simple and quick way to get a this app. Lots of different options allow for liberties to make it how you want it. It takes a little bit to get used too. You cant see a preview of the image before its made so its a little like guess work at first on how your image will look. But keep messing with the settings its worth if you just want a simple this app. Thanks for the program. Saves me litterly hundreds of hours.
crashes

9 times out of 10 it crashes when trying to create a movie, and when it does actually create the movie the resulting image is not the same as the still shot mosaic. It works ok for still shot mosaics, even though it still crashes with that too, but the movie function is totally useless, which is why I bought it. I emailed text support through their website and they never responded.
Don’t waste $30

This app crashed about half of the time. When it did not crash, it created extremely disappointing results. IF it had been a couple of bucks, I would’ve expected something like this. I’m really disappointed that I wasted $30 on this app. I’ll probably never use it.
