Download and install the WTHR app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using WTHR on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "WTHR"
- The search will reveal the WTHR app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once WTHR is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including WTHR.
- Now enjoy WTHR on PC.

- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing WTHR:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "WTHR" » Click "Install" to install WTHR
- WTHR will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Marginal Interactive radar

Your new interactive radar doesn’t work half as well as the one you had before. It was hard to learn and harder to get radar from different areas of the state or the whole nation. What’s up?

Could Be Better

I like this app 13 tv news and watch it most of the time. But the 13 news app leaves much to be desired. First, 75% of the “top” news stories are repeated in the “local” news and “national” news categories. Why? Don’t repeat the same news in all of the categories. Some news and weather forecasts are left on the app 2 or 3 days after the day they occurred. Sports news stories are also left on for days after occurring. Remove old or outdated weather and news. There are plenty of new sports stories occurring daily. Update, keep it current!! Finally, my biggest complaint is when I am scrolling down, the page jumps back to the top. This is annoying. The other local news apps don’t do that. Why does 13 app jump back to the top of the page?? Are you trying to force me to take time and see the ads?? Improve your news app and make it as good as your tv broadcast news.

New interactive weather map no good

I have enjoyed the channel 13 app for weather updates and news. I mostly used the interactive weather map. The map was recently updated and I can it get it to show live data when in “play” mode. It only shows up when paused or still. I have an iphone8 and have no issues with other apps. I have been using the fox59 app since this one no longer works for me. Please please please put the older version back on this app until you figure out the glitch. Thks!

Disappointing

Since I upgraded devices I have had to uninstall and reinstall the app bc it wouldn’t work for several days. This is the only news app I’ve ever had, but it looks like that will change since I can’t get anything to load when I open your app. After I reinstall it, the app works for about a day, then won’t load any content. I love your news station, but if you aren’t willing to pay people to develop and maintain your app, then maybe you should reconsider having that app. I’m 30 years old and have never had a different news app, until now bc your content won’t load and I need things like my weather and news! Hoping you fix soon....
