in capital letters ,, THIS IS NOT PHOTOSHOP APP !! its only a weak tutorials !! THE BIGGEST LIE & THE WORST WASTE OF 20$ !! .. and i bet 99% of the buyers of this app thought it was photoshop app !! .. Mac store shouldnt allow this to happen ..

Really upset with myself that I didn't read the reviews first. I wasted $20 on an app that is juat a tutorial now I can't get my money back. Very disappointed.

Just to get this out of the way: no one has the right to think this app is the actual Photoshop program. Here are some clues that it's not: (1) It's not from Adobe. (2) It says pretty clearly that it's a comprehensive tutorial. (3) It's called "Photoshop 101" -- as in, an introductory-level college the app. (4) It's not hundreds of dollars. Wow is all I can say! Anyway, as a tutorial, it's fine (but not great). What really mars the experience is a clunky user interface. There are 115 videos, it doesn't mark the ones you've seen in any way. So you have to try to remember where you are. And scrolling through the list is extremely tedious: you have to do it on the thin scroll bar. It's a chore to navigate. Please fix the UI!

This app is a great tutorial for Photoshop CS5! The instructor's voice is crisp and easy to understand, and he gives multiple examples on performing the action. I look forward to buying more of Jim Kanter's tutorials! On a side note: Sorry for the people who didn't READ the description OR the title. The title clearly says "Photoshop 101" not "Adobe Photoshop CS5". The "101" means tutorial or instruction for those who are educated. If you actually read the description you would see that Jim states the word "tutorial" several times.
