Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

The only thing that could make it the best converter is that it could gather the metadata from movies and in the output file the icon of the movie be shown.
Converting MOD to other formats

While there are many features in this program, the only duty I have needed this app for currently is to convert MOD formats to others (usually MOV) so I can analyize recorded data and it has worked perfectly although the help menu did not work; luckily it was intuitive enough. As I try more features I will update this post. It might be great for GoPro footage, but I have not done so yet. No crashes, no bog downs, fairly quick, and every file I have given it, it has converted.
Works great for converting to ProRes for FCPX editing

I simply needed a program to convert from the .MTS files that my Canon Vixia outputs to the Apple ProRes format which seems to be FCP X’s favorite and this does the trick. It didn’t seem that the processing time is that long, probably about 7 minutes to convert a 2gb file (about 11 minutes of video) which isn’t a problem for me because I just have it converting in the background.

I was a little confused at first when they completely changed the layout of the program. It's pretty easy to figure out thought and the new version is a lot faster than the old one. All in all a solid program that gives you a large number of formats. I use this program all the time.
