What is Apexis IP Control Pro? The Apexis IP Camera app allows users to remotely view and control their Apexis IP camera from their iOS device. The app can be used for home security, home automation, or to monitor a baby. The app supports multiple cameras and has features such as motion detection, two-way audio, and face detection and tracking.

Software Features and Description

1. 2. With this app you can remotely view and control your Apexis IP camera from your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.

3. *3G/4G or wireless network connection required, to use non-P2P cameras outside your home network you'll need to setup portforwarding on your router, see the FAQ.

4. From wherever you are*! You can use it for example for home security (is someone breaking into your home?), home automation (did I leave the lights on?) or to watch your little baby kid while it sleeps.

5. - Use the controls on the screen: tap and hold to move the camera into that direction, release to stop the motion.

6. P2P cameras like Support APM-JP4035-WS, APM-JP4045-WS, APM-JP8015-WS, APM-JP8025-WS, APM-JP8035-WS, APM-JP6015-WS, APM-JP6235-WS ,APM-JP9015-WS.

7. - Rotate in mosaic view to show the mosaic in fullscreen.

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Pretty good, possibly needs audio fix for "Talk"

the app J901 "Listen" feature works pretty good (occasionally the sound drops out & must be toggled to restore) but "Talk" seems to function poorly over cellular; only passing snippets of words or no sound at all. "Talk" seems to work much better over WiFi to LAN to WiFi than Celfone to LAN to WiFi. But if Listen works so well, then why doesn't Talk work as good? Is it the app, or camera, or ?? I'd like to see a PRESET POSITION keypad below the picture, and a keypad overlay over fullscreen, instead of the drop-down menu which blocks the entire picture. You want to be able to send a PTZ cam to any position quickly without taking your eyes off the subject. Would also like some way to utilize power zoom while in fullscreen mode. Maybe by reassigning the corner buttons from a Setup/Config menu. Adding a Framerate control could also help for those times when cellular bandwidth is limited or experiencing high loads. And lastly, this app needs to record to Photo Album like other apps can do.

I recently purchased an the app IP camera sold by X-10 as the Airsight. The camera features are nice, but the web-based interface is unreliable and difficult to use. I took a gamble with this app (considering the lukewarm reviews) but was immediately glad I did. Interacting with my camera is so much more enjoyable with this app than with the web-based interface! The app does everything the "mobile phone" web interface can do, and adds the ability to store and recall preset positions, take a snapshot and email or save it to the camera roll, and pinch to zoom on the live camera image. The interface is polished and the pan/tilt buttons are so much easier to use. It even adds hotspots so you can tap directly on the picture to move the camera around. Since the app supports multiple camera configurations, I set up my camera twice -- once with the external IP of my network and again with the local IP. This lets me quickly view my camera from local or remote locations, even though my router doesn't support translating internal requests, by simply selecting the corresponding camera option.

Very nice app, I have been using it for my X10 Airsight IPcams which appear to be made by the app. So far it works very well with X10 models XX41A and XX40A and is easy to setup and is very quick to pull the cam video on our LAN and using 3G. These IPCams use MJPEG. I would have given it a 5 Star if the app worked with the H.264 format models which I hope is added in future versions. One other minor issue is I cannot figure out how to remove a cam without deleting and reinstalling the APP.
