This app leaves a lot to be desired. The add-ons you must purchase for it to be of any value are way overpriced for what provide. In one cas under $1 gold coins the coins composition was listed as 90% silver and 10 % copper. the data base only lists three grades of coins VF, EF, and UNC. Several coins have no illustration such as the American Eagle $! coin. The UK and Euro add-ons are no better. I basically threw away $15 on the add-ons which provide little.

Like a lot of the 'free' apps, this one has add-ons that have to be purchased! Sample databases are all you get - four coins in US catalog as an example.

You are not getting anything of value here. This app should be free.
Not much better than the iPhone version

I bought the iPhone version not realizing there was a version for iPad. My catalog purchase doesn't carry over, and the catalog for is version cost more. The u.s. Catalog says it has 400 coins: the one I bought for iPhone has over 6000 (or so it says). Maybe 400 is a typo but I'm not going to spend $5 to find out. On fairness, the iPad presentation is pretty nice, but the app just doesn't provide enough information to make it useful.
