I didn't like how the rich email sent a snapshot at such a high scale that it wasn't particularly valuable if your boat was drifting. So, I sent in an email asking for an improvement and within hours he was showing me how the next version would do what I was asking for! Very impressive. I've been using this for years and it really is the best the app watch tool on the market as I've tried several. Getting the email notice allows me to leave my iPad on the boat to "watch" the boat while we go somewhere on land. My iPhone then gets the alert and I know what is going on.
A Great Tool - Provides Peace of Mind

This is a great tool that will let you sleep soundly while at the app! You can set a circle around your boat and the alarm will sound only if you drag beyond the circle. The alarm wil not sound just because the boat swings on the app as it would if you used the the app watch on a chartplotter. And the developer is very responsive. Version 2.4.6 had a problem with the display orientation when used in ladnscape mode. I emailed the developer and he fixed the problem and issued Version 2.4.7 within a couple of days.
