Top Pcmac Reviews

  • Needs apple maps 3d type controls

    By Strooper (Pcmac user)

If this app had basic apple maps type controls I would give it 5 stars and pay up to $5 for it. The pan tilt zoom buttons all over the app make it feel like an old windows app. Publisher please adopt the same basic pinch to zoom, twist to turn, and two finger up town to tilt.
  • What A Terrific App!!!

    By American Hip-fan (Pcmac user)

I never write app reviews and am skeptical of most. But DL this one and you will be extremely pleased. I first tried the Yosemite version and found it very helpful for planning hikes... And wished I could find one that I could use to plan a multi day pack trip. And discovered this... It is the entire world! Yes, really. And it is indispensable as a planning tool, even lets you look at elevations per segment, etc, and edit each day's itinerary. I would give it 10 stars if I could!
  • Needs a lot of work

    By tallicdeth (Pcmac user)

Where Google Earth is lacking, this app tries to pick up. The topo layer is simply a topo map, no definition, this should be fixed some how to show topography better. The photos are clear but out of date. Looking at the new ankeny high school, these pictures are at least 20 months old. The high school is almost complete. The touch interface is okay, the buttons around the outside edge are good, but some accelerometer support would be nice for tilting instead of just relying on the upper portion of the map.
  • Alternative?

By Ahead of time (Pcmac user)

It works, buuut like an HP 400 running Windows 3.1 on my iPad.
