  • Good app

    By Thought Crime (Pcmac user)

Good app, but save your money and get the free version. I would love to see a landscape mode. The magnifying glass magnifies images on the remote computer not the iPad. The volume control is nice but the implementation is a bit frustrating. There is no tap and hold feature so the volume keeps increasing. This necessitates tapping the button 25ish times to get from the lowest to highest volume and vice versa. A slider control would have been much better. Also, it would be nice to optionally have the default keyboard for bigger keys (although the full keyboard is nice in some cases). Finally a box that shows what you are typing on the ipad would be nice. It is frustrating to look between the iPad and computer monitor all the time to check for typos. Finally I would prefer three finger clicks for click and drag function rather than the double single finger click which is a bit hard to get to work.
  • Great app

Great app if you are looking at the computer while using, put for a presentation it needs to have the screen on the iPad. It also need a landscape view and instead of tap combinations have mouse buttons.
  • Works perfectly

    By Bugglesnug (Pcmac user)

I use a Mac Mini (with OS X Lion) as an HTPC, and this app let's me control it just as a Magic Trackpad would. It recognizes gestures (although it also triggers the iPad-specific gesture too, no big deal), but also has a full keyboard that can be used. Neat trick. I highly recommend this app, especially since similar apps are $5 - $20 and don't look as nice. It's also a dead simple setup (you do need to run a free program on whatever computer you're wanting to control, but it's a tiny file and doesn't eat system resources). There's also a free version, so try it, make sure it works, and then "splurge" the $1 on the full version to be rewarded with no ads, power and volume control and a few other nifty features. Again, I can't recommend this app enough and I use it daily.
  • Bad customer support

    By Stfw! (Pcmac user)

Works quite well but could find no product documentation on the web site. New to tablet computing, and not finding any doc on the web site, I sent a frustrated email asking how to drag and drop. The response was basically, there's no doc because everyone knows how to drag and drop, look it up on google. Four stars, minus two for bad customer service. And to drag and drop, for those who don't know, double-tap the object you want to drag but don't release the second tap, then drag.
