Slow, slow GPS acquisition

Very slow acquisition of the app signal on the Dual the app Cradle (251) w/ my iPod Touch. Usually minimum of 3 minutes & sometimes close to 5 minutes. Tech support says they will call back after talking w/ others & I never hear from them. Tech says turn WiFi on while trying to acquire the app signal while the app message says turn WiFi off. The physical switch on the Dual Cradle is marked the app Off Battery There is no indent when moving switch to Off position so it is difficult to feel requiring me to remove the Dual Cradle from the holder to shut off. Tech says there is no difference between the the app & Battery positions except some apps will work differently (?) Tech guy just tries his unit and cannot tell me mine is so slow. Bad experiences w/ Dual the app Cradle 251
