    Bad for school
  • Good app but crashes

    By AnnDi73 (Pcmac user)

Used this app with 7th graders. They liked it but many were reporting that the app would crash. Also, it would be nice if there was a way to go back to the screen that lists how many were missed and the actual problems. Once they left that screen there was no way to go back to it.
  • Important - Read first

    By Edu571 (Pcmac user)

Seriously? Adding and doing multiplication from the highest place first is not wrong; it's a speed math technique which makes larger numbers easier to deal with. After reading this review from a 4th grade teacher I decided to download the app. This math technique is a new age teaching style and works much better for most kids than the antiquated right-to-left form. I have not had a chance to look at the app yet but just wanted to clarify that how they teach math IS NOT WRONG. It would probably help your kids to learn this way and the traditional because both ways have their advantages. I am also a teacher and have 3 degrees(CS, Math, and Business). Please do not spread misinformation about education. If you are still confused as to why it is advantageous to do basic math from the left to right, there are many educational sites that can explain this concept to you.
