Good but has issues

I have purchased this app for both my iPad gen 1 and my iPhone 5. I coach high school cross country and track and I use this app for both sports and on both devices. Coaches are always asking me what I'm using and when I demonstrate the capabilities they always leave vowing they will get this app. It really is a great app with a lot of positives. I love how easy it makes recording performances and comparing results within the current season or even to past years results. The reason I am only giving 3 stars is because it occasionally crashes and with timing and getting splits that's the last thing anybody wants. It crashed on my iPad and I thought it was because the processor couldn't handle it but now that I have it on my iPhone 5 it still crashes! Frustrating. Plus I paid twice for the same app on 2 devices. As far as I can tell this app has no competition but they really need to fix the stability.
Could be so much better

This app is just what I was looking for. As a cross country coach this saves me so much time. It gets my mile splits and even breaks down how long each mile took. The results are then emailed to me and printed. But on the down side I can only use this for varsity as this app is so buggy when adding competitors it takes way to long to add a large field. Also going from screen to screen there has got to be a better way. This app could become my best friend if we could stop the little errors.

As a cross country this is exactly the type of app I need, I hope the developer continues to improve this app. While editing the athlete database it frequently kept taking me back to the race or competitors screen in the midst of typing in a name. Finger swiping left and right to change between race, splits and competitors sections is a bad idea, since it makes for entering info into each screen very difficult.

This app would be ok if it was compatible with all apple products. This app only works with iPhone and iPod touch. If you want it to work correctly on your iPad you have to buy a again for your iPad. It would be a great app if you only had to buy it once for all your devices.
