You broke your app with the latest update...

Just updated today, and it’s broken. Won’t add stuff to cart, freezes. You restart and it wants you to sign in again. Then you click one more button and another sign in page pops up. Then you’re trying to purchase something and notice it says free shipping but also charges for shipping, so you back out again and it takes you to a new cart with more things in it, blows away progress in placing order, asks you to sign in again, then gives and error saying you can’t sign in bc you’re already signed in but then asks you to sign in...broken. Please fix.

Very buggy and frustrating app

This app used to be functional. Now I can’t even process an order without it freezing up a ton. When I go to the cart, the remove button doesn’t do anything so I have to type in 0 in quantity. I forgot my password so I tried to find the “I forgot my password” option but it doesn’t exist. On my last order I had a big list of climbing things that I was really interested in purchasing so I didn’t give up in spite of all the glitches, but not going through that headache again; this app is getting deleted. I used to buy here all the time and I don’t remember any problems but now this app may just raise your blood pressure.

Not bad, not great

I barely look at this app anymore because the deals aren’t as good as they used to be. I’ve followed steep in cheap for years, and used to love it! There were some fantastic deals. Now, the goods and equipment in general have pretty good prices, but often about the same as any outdoor/sporting goods store will have. I used to check regularly at the “Current Steals,” because there were some amazing deals, but for a very long time now the current steals that even remotely interest me have mostly been items already available in the below ongoing sale sections, and the price is the same??

Poor functionality

Don’t waste your time on this app. Go to the website. The functionality is poor and painstakingly annoying. For example, you have to log in to the app each time you open or close it. I was logged in, opened this review and went back to the app and I was logged out. Navigate to a different page in the app, you get logged out.
I tried scrolling through my cart to look at the different items and it keeps auto scrolling me back to the top so I can’t look at the items lower down in my cart.
It took me awhile to figure out how to use the filters so I could narrow down a search. There are hidden deals that appear from time to time, they aren’t all deals. I can often find the same discounted prices on Backcountry, Moosejaw, and Campsaver. I just Google search and buy from the lowest bidder and it is often not SteepandCheap anymore.
