Shouldn’t the data be current?
By 4Cal Flying (Pcmac user)
I downloaded the app, thinking I would use it mostly when I’m out. For now though, I’ll look up my tail number. I bought the plane a couple of months ago. Already have my registration card in my plane. This app still shows old owner's name and info. If you need current info, this app may not be the one for you.

Good, but needs update
By Sloanzone (Pcmac user)
App works great, but I haven't been able to look up some aircraft. This has mostly occurred on newer aircraft. It has found about 98% of the planes I've looked up though, so I'd say it's a dollar well spent.

A Must Own Application
By Nantucket Ned (Pcmac user)
If you are a pilot this is a must own application! It contains the entire FAA registration database in compressed format. Simply type the the app number into the search box and the ownership record is returned. It works in the air and does not need an Internet connection. I find I use this application EVERY time I fly and every time I drive by the airport and see a new plane. Without a doubt it is one of my most used iPhone and iPad applications.

Great Aviation App
By Flying*A (Pcmac user)
This app is very handy for a quick the app-number look-up. When a plane taxis in, you can identify the owner and aircraft type in just a few second and you don't need any cell service as all the data is in a compressed database within the app. I refer to this app all the time.
