What is WISER Response?
WISER is a mobile application that provides accurate information about hazardous substances to first responders in hazardous material incidents. The app extracts content from PubChem, an authoritative, peer-reviewed information resource maintained by the National Library of Medicine, and places that information into the hands of those who need it most. The app offers comprehensive decision support, including assistance in identifying an unknown substance and guidance on immediate actions necessary to save lives and protect the environment.
