Best audio pronunciation in a translator I've heard "seen"

I recently downloaded five free translators for my iPad. Although this one was not my favorite overall, it does boast the best audio of any of the translators that even have that feature. Some other apps' audio is basically just an American voice speaking foreign words. This app (I've tried it in several languages, including French and Dutch) actually pronounces words as they'd be pronounced in their native tongue. For example typing "Francois" in, the voice pronounces the 'c' as a hard syllable--making the correct entry "François" changes the pronunciation to the correct 's' sound. Impressive. Other highlight of the app is the ability to send multiple translations to your email (both target and origin languages), rather than one at a time--the norm with translation apps.

On my iPhone (OS 4.2) there is NO speaker icon and no way to speak the language into the app, only type it. Website forum says that tapping or holding a finger on a translated word brings up menu for "speak", "email", etc. For me it just brings up the phone's "Copy" message above, there are no other options. Give it 3 stars because the translation appears correct - but it is all text based

Every time I try to translate this is what it says "network failed please try again later" Come on! two stars added when the network doesn't fail.
Why doesn't it work?

It had some good reviews, but it has done nothing but fail sense I downloaded it. It keeps saying 'try again latter'. A lot of people seem to be having this problem. I'm so glad that this app was free or I would have been furious. I do not like wasting money. I wish I could give this app zero stars till it got better, yet Apple iTunes won't let me do that so I guess a one star will have to do for now. Pleas fix this so that it's not wasting space on my iPhone.
