“Click-Bait” style headlines makes it feel cheap

So-so as far as being current. Articles are repeated often across the few news categories. Limited customization as far as what article topics you are interested in. But the thing that makes it seem more like a tabloid rather than a serious news source is it’s proliferation of “click-bait” style headlines, making it feel cheap and not to be taken seriously. Your grade school children might like that style though for their school assignments.
No ability to customize the news categories you want vs. what they want you to see. No search capabilities.

Ruined the app by injecting commercials

I am a long time subscriber, recently the app has added commercials mandatory to hear after every couple of stories read or before viewing video content. This is torture to the user especially when the only commercial repeatedly played is for NBC 6, you will be forced to endure the same commercial a dozen times to read the daily edition, and guess what the next day it starts all over again, this has ruined the app, hopefully the rocket scientist who added it will realize how bad he’s alienating readers

Horrendous!!!

I am extremely disappointed & frustrated with the new app. It is NOT user friendly & has many glitches. I am constantly having to restart the app. Why it was upgraded I fail to understand. It went from bad to worse! If it was to save money, well you get what you pay for! Get your act together because you will be losing me as a customer as well as many others! Does not even deserve a 1 star!

Incredibly Glitchy

When is the Herald going to get its digital version working correctly? Once again it changed the iPad app, but it continues to crash. Another problem is if you want to read an article as it looks in the physical paper the article will become out of focus as you read it. You have to double click the article and read it in a pop up.
