Very good but not perfect.

I was very excited to get this app, as I have interest in several languages and love to read the scriptures in two or more languages at the same time. However, since one of the languages that I like to read in is Mandarin Chinese, I was most interested in the Pinyin option to help me with my sounds and especially tones. I am much disappointed to see that while all of the sounds/tones associated with the Chinese characters are present in the correct order in Pinyin, THEY ARE NOT PROPERLY BROKEN INTO THE CHINESE WORDS THE PINYIN LETTERS ARE SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT. THEY SEEM TO BE JUST RANDOMLY SEPARATED INTO ‘WORDS’ WHICH IS VERY CONFUSING. Even though Chinese words are all written in characters, with even spacing, most words are compounds of two or more characters and the Pinyin should be grouped into those word compounds, not just randomly spaced into ‘words’. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO FIX THIS.

I was used to reading the Book of Mormon in English and Portuguese, side by side. Now, the Portuguese translation no longer appears. I used the email link in the app to contact the developers and it bounced back. What is going on? Update - The Portuguese translation now appears and I can hear the audio of the scriptures, but it is very fast. There is no control of speed. I tried to contact the developers, and the web page is blank. Things are getting better, so I am upping my rating from one to three stars, but they aren’t there yet.
Would Be Great If it Worked (but it doesn’t...)

I bought the app to read Chinese, Pinyin, and English side-by-side (which is the entire purpose of the app). Once I successfully downloaded the languages I wanted within the app (which was buggy and I’m not sure what I did to make it finally work), I turned them on in the settings. Then I went to library to select a chapter of the Book of Mormon, buuut the library tells me that the ONLY content available for my languages is General Conference. Not want I wanted to read, but okay I guess. When I click on General Conference (because it’s the ONLY option for Chinese and Pinyin) the app takes me to a different iTunes Store page to pay for their General Conference language study app. So the app that I paid for literally has zero content available for my languages. Alright. Waiting for my payment to be processed so that I can get a refund. TLDR: Chinese and Pinyin have zero content available and automatically redirect me to pay more money for another app.
Such a timesaver!

We used to read with chapter pulled up in English while we read from the book in Spanish and, for the last twelve months, French. This is so much easy to use than to have two separate sources. When i come across a word or phrase that I don't understand, I just look on the English side to understand. And if I need more clarification, I can select individual words to obtain their direct translation.
