Lite is heavy

I just barely got it and it's pestering me to write a review. It seems to work well, I have not read very far yet, seems to be packed with information. Occasionally there is a word that I do not know the definition of. It would be nice if there was more than one video. multiple ways to start fires would be nice not just one. It appears to recommend a knife as the number one survival tool, but in my opinion a folding saw would be much more useful. And like I said I have not read very far yet.

For a free app it is amassing! I got the book first and I was able to compare some of the fechers. It also has some videos of knife safety. Which the book does not have. I think that you should get the app but also get the book. The book has more tips on surviving. So I think you should get both.
Only info you need very little fluff

I've read about half of the information in this app and its one of the most concise and useful survival guides I've read. If you want to know all the need to know info before going backcountry camping or into a risky situation download this app.
Not too bad. It's free!!

I like this app so far, but I have to say the quiz section is absolutely stupid..... Why not quiz on things that matter and will maybe save a life. Not a true or false question on If someone with curly hair,, their hair tightens up when bad weather is approaching??? Come on that stupid.
