I frequently have to record voice prompts for the phone system at work. I record using the app, email the wav file to myself, then convert the file format on my PC using Switch Sound Converter from the same company. The sound quality is better than what I get with the PC microphone. The only addition I wish for is the abiloty to save as 8 bit wav using the CCITT mU-law codec. Then I wouldn't need to run files through Switch. Add that, and I'll pay for this. Oh yeah, It's also great for recording meetings or memos. I like that it's so easy to email the files.

I had hoped for easy to use tool for dictation and for making short audio clips, but it is in my opinion hard to use and still has many bugs. Maybe the developer gave up since they have not provided any updates in over a year.

This does exactly what I want and does it very well. I had the same issue others have complained of. The app would quit when making a new recording. This happened after I changed the audio format. I changed it back to the default WAV/PCM 22 kHz 16 bits and it works fine. It's the BEST app available for emailing yourself voice memos.

I wanted an app that I could make voice recordings and listen to on a Windows machine, and this does exactly that. It works perfectly, the recorded quality is very high! I hope this application is maintained, because it is increasingly useful to me.
