Install SCCL app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using SCCL on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SCCL"
The search will reveal the SCCL app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once SCCL is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SCCL.
Now enjoy SCCL on PC.

Accounts broken: can’t use it to place holds

Why would you want a mobile app for your local library? To place holds on items when you’re away from your computer! What feature is completely broken from the outset? The ability to link the app to your library card. It gives me an error page. Yes, you can search the catalog and library hours, but that can be done at the webpage through a browser app just as easily. Just bookmark the webpage and save space on your device.

This app is too slow, has poorly-designed behavior (why would you need my location data if I'm only asking for the hours at a specific library for example) and seems to not have anyone actively working on the app (never any updates as far as I can see). Avoid this - just use the web site associated with your local library system.
It’s a good app, but could be better

The this app is a good apps, easy to use.I wish you could add the later shelf. You can only hold for 10 books/dvd, after that you can put on later shelf which I need to see it from laptop. It’s a hassle. Please add it to your apps. Thanks.
Terrible. Needs immediate changes

First of all, it is way to slow. Second, when I placed a hold on two books last night and checked on them today, I tried to find them and it turns out I didn’t place a hold on them when I knew I pressed the hold button yesterday! There isn’t even a tab to see your holds! Please listen to these reports and change the app quickly
